Edmonton

Jason had a KA shindig to go to in Edmonton this weekend so we all went with him. To Edmonton that is... not the KA thing. We stayed with our friends Kyle and Tami and their two year old daughter Neko. I don't think I have ever seen a two year old with as large and extensive vocabulary as Neko. For example she says 'anemone' like its a common place object, instead of just a sea shell. Our friend Pat was there as well. He is moving to Spain and Libya in the next couple of months so it was really good to see him one last time before he left.

Sofie absolutely adored Neko, she tried to follow her everywhere she went. I don't think Neko appreciated it to much. But Neko has a baby sister on the way, so I think she's going to have to get used to it.

Sofie Crawls

First off, Sofie would like to say congratulations to Zach Morden on the birth of his little brother, Reid.

It's been another busy weekend. Actually really it's been the first busy weekend that didn't involve house work. We went and visited with new friends, Amanda, Kevin and 10 month old Spencer on Friday night. And then had James and Kristina over on Saturday night. It felt good to have conversations with someone other than

ourselves and Sofie.

Sofie decided to do everything at once. She started crawling on Thursday. Crawling on her hands and knees instead of a tummy crawl. She now sits up by herself as well, though it is a rare moment when she actually sits before crawling off to a new adventure.
